The deep fascia is the connective tissue that is responsible for support and protection of other muscles and soft tissue structures. The muscle usually surround other muscles, nerves and blood vessels and it bind all these structures together. The deep fascia muscle does not have fat, it is inelastic in nature and quite tough because of the high content of elastin which it possesses.
