Totalitarianism is a form of government that allows no individual freedom or opposition parties and seeks to subordinate all aspects of individual life to the ultimate authority of the state so as to excercise extreme control over both public and private life. This term was first coined by Benito Mussolini, the Italian dictator, in the early 1920s to define the new fascist state.

Taking all this into consideration, we may say that the name "totalitarianism" is appropiate for that form of government because the government exerts total control.

1. What qualifies
someone to be a chief in the League of Five Nations?
mash [69]

Answer:

The Iroquois view of nature was based on sharing and cooperation. They took that same attitude into their daily life, history, and government. Because of their attitude, they were able to accomplish something spectacular, something that had never been done before. They were able to form the League of Nations.

Legend says... Once upon a time, there was a Mohawk leader named Hiawatha. He was tired of the endless fighting between the five nations. He wanted things to change. One day, he met a great Iroquois speaker named Dekanawida.

Dekanawida convinced him that the way to bring peace was to form a new nation, a single Iroquois Nation, where all five nations would have a voice in government, so that things could be solved peacefully.

"We bind ourselves together by taking hold of each other's hands so firmly and forming a circle so strong that if a tree should fall upon it, it could not shake nor break it, so that our people and grandchildren shall remain in the circle of security, peace, and happiness."

And so it was done. Each of the five great Iroquois Nations banded together to form the League of Nations.

Answer: well, for starters he founded the Democratic Party and equalized the executive branch and congress in terms of power. Then again with the Indian removal act and all we really can’t say that he was a “good person”.

Where did the colonists get the idea that only male land owners should vote?
DochEvi [55]
The colonists and early Americans got the idea that only male land owners should vote from England. Voting in England during pre-1832 was dependent on three criteria – sex, age and property. Only men over the age of 21 were allowed to vote – and only if they owned property over a certain value. It was essentially a way of making voting a rich man’s privilege, reinforced by small boroughs having more MPs than larger counties, which were predominantly inhabited by poorer workers. The Great Reform Act in 1832 broadened the spectrum of voters to include the likes of landowners and shopkeepers as part of the property criteria. The constituency boundaries were rearranged to make representation less unfair and householders paying more than £10 in annual rent were also given the vote

Leto [7]

Question: In the early 20th century, describe how life for black people was different in Vienna,Australia compared to life in the United States

Answer: The nineteenth century was a time of radical transformation in the political and legal status of African Americans. Blacks were freed from slavery and began to enjoy greater rights as citizens (though full recognition of their rights remained a long way off). Despite these dramatic developments, many economic and demographic characteristics of African Americans at the end of the nineteenth century were not that different from what they had been in the mid-1800s. Tables 1 and 2 present characteristics of black and white Americans in 1900, as recorded in the Census for that year. (The 1900 Census did not record information on years of schooling or on income, so these important variables are left out of these tables, though they will be examined below.) According to the Census, ninety percent of African Americans still lived in the Southern US in 1900 — roughly the same percentage as lived in the South in 1870.
