Participation Rate is 80 Percent

20% are not in the Labor Force/Market.

So, the 200 Million people that is not participating Represents 20% of the working age population, or (0.20 * x ) equals 200,000,000, where X is the working age population. Then x equals 200,000,000/ 0.20 equals 1,000,000,000 or 1 Billion. So with the 200,000,000 of the 1,000,000,000 people being outside the labor force,

Therefore, The Answer ===> There must be 800 Million people that are in the Labor Force/Market.

Hope that helps!!!! -P- : )

200 m + Labor Force = Working Age Population
Since the participation rate is 80%,
so we know that Labor Force = 0.80 x Working Age Population
Thus, 200 m + 0.80 Working Age Population = Working Age Population
200 m = Working Age Population(1-0.80)
Solving for working age population,
we get Working Age Population = 200 m / 0.2 = 1000 m
The working age population is 1000 million.

A customer has purchased 1,000 shares of ABC stock at $44 per share, paying a commission of $1.00 per share for the transaction.
EastWind [94]

Answer:

D) 1,200 shares held at a cost basis of $37.50 per share

Explanation:

Since the company paid a stock dividend, it increased the number of stocks held by the stockholders. The investor initially had 1,000 shares plus a 20% dividend = 1,000 x 1.2 = 1,200 shares. Since each stock should theoretically be worth less, his/her basis should decrease. The basis for each stock was $44(price) + $1(commission) = $45, after the dividend is paid it will be adjusted to $45 / 1.2 = $37.50 per stock

Tems11 [23]
We are given the skills of each worker:

Sasha is very good at producing computer-generated graphics
Maurice is skilled at designing logos with pen and paper

To address the immediate problem, Hector's action should be to assign Maurice to do the design in a paper then pass it to Sasha for generating it on the computer. It could also be that if a client requests a paper design, Maurice does it and for computer-generated designs, Sasha will do it.

The corrective action that he should do is let Sasha and Maurice attend trainings for their weaknesses.

Komok [63]

Answer:

A.5$

B.The difference between the interest rate on one-year dollar deposits and that on one-year euro deposits (assuming no repayment risk) is 5%

Explanation:

A.

The forward premium on euro is (1.26 - 1.20)/1.20 = 0.05 or 5%

B. The interest rate difference between one-year dollar deposits and one-year euro deposits (assuming no repayment risk) will be 5 percent because the interest difference must equal the forward premium on euro against dollars when the covered interest parity holds.
