At the start of the school year, students can pick to have either a black ID holder (B) or a red ID holder (R). Suppose that two

students pick their ID holders. What is the sample space for this action? Drag and drop the choices into the box to correctly complete the table. If an item is not in the sample space, do not drag it to the table. Sample Space BRRRRBBRRBBBBBRBRBRBRRRBBBRBBRRB RR

BR
RB
RR
BB
Sample space is just another way of saying "What choices give am equal or 100% chance?" So RB and BR each give an equal chance of getting black or red. RR and BB both give a 100% chance of getting that color.

I also took the quiz and got it right

The sample space is nothing but ALL possible outcomes. In this case you have Black & Red id's. Then the sample space is {black, red}

Solve for x for 1 and 2
taurus [48]

Answer:

1. 37.5

2. 8

Step-by-step explanation:

1. the smaller triangle and the bigger triangle are similar, so the sides are also similar.

this means that 16/46 = 20/(x+20)

then, just solve that for x

16/46 = 20/(x+20)

divide both sides by 4

4/46 = 5/(x+20)

multiply both sides by (x + 20)

(x+20) * 4/46 = 5

multiply both sides by 46

4x + 80 = 230

subtract 80

4x = 150

divide 4

x = 37.5

2. do the same thing ( still similar triangles)

the equation would be (3x + 1)/10 = (7x - 1)/22

solve

22(3x + 1) = 10(7x - 1)

66x + 22 = 70x - 10

32 = 4x

x = 8

Answer:

490.9\ ft^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The total area is equal to

A=10(h)+2\pi r(h)+10(h)

we have

h=9\ ft

r=5.5\ ft

\pi=3.14

substitute

A=10(9)+2(3.14)(5.5)(9)+10(9)

A=490.9\ ft^{2}
