let \gcd(a,b)= G , $a\ge b$

$\therefore a=G\cdot m$ and $b=G\cdot n$

$a-b=Gm-Gn=G(m-n)$

Now, $\gcd(a-b,b)$ clearly is, $G$

MariettaO [177]

Answer:

I'm assuming it would be 3 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

It would be 3 hours because after three hours, the candle that can only burn for 3 hours will have burned out. This leaves the candles that can burn for 4 and 5 hours. I guess if you want to get really specific you could say 3 hours and 59 minutes but I'm not totally sure how your teacher wants the answer

Simplify: (c+4/c^2+5x+6)/(3c^2+12c/2c^2+5c-3)
juin [17]
(c+4/c^2+5c+6)/(3c^2+12c/2c^2+5c-3)= (c+4)/(c^2+5c+6) Multiplied by (2c^2+5c-3)/3c^2+12c= 2c^3+5c^2-3c+8c^2+20c-12/3c^4+12c^3+15c^3+60c^2+18c^2+72= 2c^3+13c^2+17c-12/3c^4+27c^3+78c^2+72c
