The answer is "iron fusion".

In fact, initially all stars burn hydrogen through nuclear fusion. As they run out of hydrogen, they start to burn the next heavier element, which is helium. The very massive stars continue this cycle, and when they run out of helium they start to burn the heavier elements until reaching iron. This element represents the end of the chain, because nuclear fusion of iron does not release energy, but it absorbs energy. This means that the star can't produce energy anymore and eventually it collapses.

All matter is made up of subatomic particles that contain atoms.TrueFalse
antiseptic1488 [7]

All matter is made up of subatomic particles that contain atoms. This is false statement.

Everything in the universe is made of matter, and so, everything in the universe is made of atoms. An atom itself is made up of three tiny kinds of particles called subatomic particles: protons, neutrons, and electrons.

All matter is made up of substances called elements, which have specific chemical and physical properties and cannot be broken down into other substances through ordinary chemical reactions.

Matter is anything which have mass and occupy some volume.

On earth, solid, liquid, and gas are the most common states of matter. Not only is water the most common substance on earth, but it is also the only substance that commonly appears as a solid, a liquid, and a gas within the normal range of earth's temperatures.

Consider an eraser, weighing 20g, sitting 5cm from the center of a turntable (flat disk attached to a motor which can spin the d
Artist 52 [7]

Answer:

A. 42.3 revolution per minute

B. Centripetal Force

Explanation:

20 g = 0.02 kg

5 cm = 0.05 m

Let g = 9.8 m/s2

A.The friction force acting on the eraser is the product of normal force and its coefficient:

F_f = N\mu = mg\mu = 0.02*9.8*0.1 = 0.0196 N

For the eraser to begin slipping, its centripetal acceleration must win over the acceleration created by friction force, which is

a_f = F_f / m = 0.0196 / 0.02 = 0.98 m/s^2 = a_c

We can calculate the angular velocity from this:

a_c = \omega^2 r

where r = 0.05 is the radius of rotation, which is distance from the center to the eraser

\omega^2 = a_c/r = 0.98 / 0.05 = 19.6

\omega = \sqrt{19.6} = 4.43 rad/s

If it spins and angle of 4.43 rad per second then for every minute (60 seconds) it would spin an angle of 4.43 * 60 = 265.6 rad/min

Since 1 revolution is 2π rad, then in a minute it would spin 265.6 / 2π = 42.3 revolution/minute

B. The force responsible for making the eraser go faster while the turntable is spinning up would be the centripetal force.

A helium tank holds a volume of .02 m^3 at a pressure of 15.5*10^6 Pa and a temperature of 293 K. How many spherical balloons wi
lukranit [14]

Answer:

Explanation:

We shall find the volume of stored gas at atmospheric pressure .

P₁ V₁ = P₂ V₂

15.5 x 10⁶ x .02 = 10⁵ x V₂ ( atmospheric pressure is 10⁵ Pa )

V₂ = 3.1 m³

volume of one balloon = 4/3 x π r³ , r is radius of balloon

= 4/3 π x .11³

= .050658 m³

no of balloon = total volume to be filled / volume of one balloon

= 3.1 / .050658

= 61 .2

= 61

An aqueous stagnant layer that overlies the apical membrane and the subepithelial blood flow are potential barriers to the absorption of drugs that readily penetrate the absorbing cell of the epithelium. The apical, basal, and basement membranes are potential barriers to the absorption of less permeable drugs.
