The slope (m) and the ordered pairs are given.
In order to arrive at the standard form : AX + BY = C, we need to form the slope-intercept form first : y = mx + b

Substitute the values in order to get the intercept (b)
y = mx + b
5 = 5/4 * 4 + b
5 = 5 + b
b = 0

So given the m = 5/4, b = 0
y = mx + b
y = 5/4x+ 0

Converting it to Standard Form
y = 5/4x + 0
5/4x - y = 0 (multiply both sides by 4)
5x - 4y = 0

So the Standard form is 5x - 4y = 0

Answer:

x = 12, y = 128

Step-by-step explanation:

9 * 12 + 19 = 127

5 * 12 - 7 = 53

127 + 53 = 180

180 - 53 + 1 = 128

y = 128

Gnoma [55]
Answer: The first and the third.

The two statements that are correct are the first and third options.

In the first choice, we are looking for values that are in A given that they are already a part of B. 14 of the values in B are also in A. This can be reduced to 2/3 as shown.

In the third choice, we are simply looking for the fraction of the entire chart that are in A. There are 31 values in A and 59 in the total chart. Therefore, the fraction 31/59 is correct.
