Well first take 8 and take the fist 2 numbers witch are 18 and see how many times  8 goes into 18. But 8 does not go into 18 so take the nearest multipul without going over wich is 16. Then figure out what times 8 is 16. 8x2=16 so write on the top 02 and put 18-16 witch is 2 then bring down the 9 witch will be 29 and find out 8x what is 29. but 8 does not go into 29 so find the nearest multipul witch is 24 and find out 8x what is 24. 8x3 is 24 so add a three at the top and put 29-24 witch is 5 and bring down the 8. So how many times does 8 go into 58. 8 cannot go into 58 so find the nearest multipul witch would be 56 and 8x what is 56. 8x7=56 so add a seven at the top and subtract 58-56 witch is 2 so your awnser would be 237 remainder  2.
