You would add 2 and 4 which is 6. and that you would add 6 to -25 which would leave you with -19.

So it is basically -25+2+4 or -25+6.
Since it is a negative, adding a positive will move the number to the right on a number line.
-25+6=-19

Hope this helps! If you have any questions, just ask!

Which are the solutions of x2 = –11x + 4?
Zarrin [17]

For this case we have the following polynomial:

x ^ 2 = -11x + 4

Rewriting the polynomial we have:

x ^ 2 + 11x - 4 = 0

From here, we can solve the polynomial using the quadratic equation

We have then:

x=\frac{-b+/-\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}

x=\frac{-11+/-\sqrt{11^2-4(1)(-4)}}{2(1)}

x=\frac{-11+/-\sqrt{11^2+16}}{2}

x=\frac{-11+/-\sqrt{121+16}}{2}

x=\frac{-11+/-\sqrt{137}}{2}

Therefore, the solutions are:

x=\frac{-11+\sqrt{137}}{2}

x=\frac{-11-\sqrt{137}}{2}

Can you please tell me how to find the absolute maximum and absolute minimum values of a function???? Thank you!!!!!
valkas [14]

Answer:

Yes.

Step-by-step explanation:

In the Quadratic Equation, <em>y</em><em> </em><em>=</em><em> </em><em>Ax</em><em>²</em><em> </em><em>+</em><em> </em><em>Bx</em><em> </em><em>+</em><em> </em><em>C</em><em>,</em><em> </em>two things could happen with your <em>A</em>:

Opens down → Maximum Value [-A]

Opens up → Minimum Value [A]

We can identify the minimum or maximum value of a parabola by identifying the y-coordinate of the vertex. You can use a graph to identify the vertex or you can find the minimum or maximum value algebraically by using the formula x = ⁻ᵇ/₂ₐ. This formula will give you the x-coordinate of the vertex.

I am joyous to assist you anytime.
