Answer:

Adenosine triphosphate, also known as ATP, is a molecule that carries energy within cells. It is the main energy currency of the cell, and it is an end product of the processes of photophosphorylation (adding a phosphate group to a molecule using energy from light), cellular respiration, and fermentation.

It is made up of the molecule adenosine (which itself is made up of adenine and a ribose sugar) and three phosphate groups. It is soluble in water and has a high energy content due to having two phosphoanhydride bonds connecting the three phosphate groups

Its main function is to store energy within the cell. ... ATP hydrolysis is an exotermic reaction, releasing energy which is used by the cell.sphate groups.

Answer:

Adenosine Triphosphate. Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is considered by biologists to be the energy currency of life. It is the high-energy molecule that stores the energy we need to do just about everything we do.

Science definitions for atp

Short for adenosine triphosphate. An organic compound, C10H16N5O13P3, that is composed of adenosine and three phosphate groups. It serves as a source of energy for many metabolic processes. ATP releases energy when it is broken down into ADP by hydrolysis during cell metabolism.

What does it mean when a scientist uses the word theory
Evgen [1.6K]

Answer:

well theory is ranked second highest in certainty in scientific nomenclature. theory dictates it is more certain of a principle than a hypothesis yet not concrete enough to be a law. examples are the theory of evolution versus the law of gravity

A squirrel helps carry out a plant’s reproduction. Arrange the steps in the correct order, starting with successful pollination.
Sergeeva-Olga [200]
After successful pollination the seeds start to develop as they grow they began to fall from the tree where a squirrel would then find them and eat them or bury them for winter as if he eats them the seed travel through his body and out with his wast where it will be covered and then slowly grow but if the squirrel burys them they wont need to get buried so they will start to grow almost immediately.

You wish to determine the concentration of bacteria in a liquid sample. You measure the concentration by direct microscopic obse
Lelechka [254]

Answer:

The correct answer to the question above is "PLATE COUNT TECHNIQUE"

Explanation:

DIRECT MICROSCOPIC OBSERVATION is the method of estimating the number of microorganism using microscope. Samples to be estimated are placed on microscope slides which allow few cells in a small volume to be counted. Then, the value determined is used to estimate the total number of cells mathematically. It is only difficult to aee small cells which may affect precision.

VIABLE COUNT is the estimation of the living cells in a given sample.

PLATE COUNT TECHNIQUE is used to estimate the number of viable cells that are present in a given sample of actively growing or dividing cells based on bacteria cells found on agar plate. A sample to be counted is diluted in a solution that will not kill the microorganisms, this is done to enable accurate counting as only living bacteria will be counted.
