Answer:

The government responded to social movements through court rulings and policies in the following are discussed below.

Explanation:

The Supreme Court opened the door for civil rights reformation through judgments in a series of cases, beginning with Brown v. Board of Education, that invalidated discrimination as a breaking of the equal safeguard clause.

In its judgment, the Supreme Court granted, ordering that “in the area of public learning, separate but equal has no position.” This judgment was a significant achievement for the civil rights movement, and later cases claiming discrimination made on the example set in Brown.

What are the Importance of Ideology
AVprozaik [17]

Answer:

Ideology is an important factor in determining how people make decisions.  In order to make good decisions, you have to have an open mind to all of the potential solutions for the issue under consideration.

Based on a composite of about ten different definitions that I could find, ideology can best be described in one sentence as a set of opinions, beliefs, theories, or principles (usually political or religious in nature) held by an individual, group, or society that explains and lends legitimacy to their actions in their own minds.

However, ideology is much more complicated than this.  And ideology has nothing to do with intelligence.  It is more like a set of glasses through which we view the world.  And being nonideological is somewhat different than being pragmatic, which means dealing with issues practically or realistically, although some amount of pragmatism certainly goes into making good decisions.

Describe characteristics and give examples of perfect competition
kvv77 [185]
Perfect competition is the simplest market structure, where the market is assumed to be in equilibrium and that all sellers sell the same product at the same price. The four conditions for perfect competition are:

1. There are many buyers and sellers in the market so that no one individual or seller can influence the price of the products, goods, and services.
2. Identical products are offered by the sellers
3. Both the buyers and the sellers are well-informed about the products and want to maximize profit.
4. Entry and exit to and from the market can be done freely by the sellers and buyers.

There is no market which displays 100% perfect competition. However, markets exhibiting nearly perfect competition do exist. These include street food vending and agricultural markets.
