Answer:

Option C is correct. C. bisects it from opposite vertices

Step-by-step explanation:

A parallelogram has symmetry with respect to the line that bisects it from opposite vertices. Parallelogram has no lines of symmetry. Only special parallelograms like square, rhombus and rectangle have lines of symmetry.

All the others are never true for a parallelogram. You can try cutting out a parallelogram and folding it to see for yourself!

Y_Kistochka [10]

Answer:

D) y = -1/2x + 4

Step-by-step explanation:

Points on the graph: (0, 4) and (8, 0)

Slope:

m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

m=(0 - 4)/(8-0)

m= -4/8

m = -1/2

Slope-intercept:

y - y1 = m(x - x1)

y - 4 = -1/2(x - 0)

y - 4 = -1/2x

y = -1/2x + 4

What is the answer to this word problem or how would I solve it
USPshnik [31]
Its a simultaneous equation:
lets make "x" the used games and "y" the new ones

4x + 2y = 84
6x + y = 78. (multiply this by 2 to cancel out y)
12x + 2y = 156

so now we subtract them:
12x - 4x = 156 - 84
x = 9
used games cost $9
new games cost 78 - 6(9) = $24

Janet has $120 but she already bought 3 NEW games so:
120 - 3(24) = $48 left

48/9 = how many used ones she can buy = 5. something

she can buy 5 used

A shopkeeper bought 775 kg of wheat . He wants to divide all the wheat into 8 bags of the same size. How much Wheat Can he store
Arturiano [62]

In order to calculate how much wheat will be stored in each bag, let's divide the total amount of wheat by the number of bags:

\frac{775}{8}=96.875

Assuming that the amount of wheat each bag can hold is a whole number, so each bag can hold 96 kg (otherwise, each bag would hold 96.875 kg and there would be no wheat left).

Then, to find how much wheat will be left, let's calculate how much the 8 bags will hold, and then we subtract this value from the total:

\begin{gathered} 96\cdot8=768 \\  \\ 775-768=7 \end{gathered}

So there will be 7 kg left.
