If a person has too much calcium ion in their blood, the gland that is most likely working incorrectly would be the parathyroid gland. This gland is located at the neck at the back of the thyroid gland. It is responsible for the regulation of calcium ions in our bodies - amount of calcium in the bones and in the blood. Calcium is a very essential element in the body which is used in several control systems in the body so the amount of this element should be regulated well and this is done by the parathyroid glands. They measure the amount of calcium in the body every minute. When these glands does not function properly, then the calcium in the body would not be regulated and might cause complications.<span />

What type of polymer is made by bonding an alkene to one or more alkanes or alkenes? A. di-polymers B. multi-polymers C. additio
olganol [36]
Hello!

The type of polymer that is made by bonding an alkene to one or more alkanes or alkenes is called addition polymer

Addition polymers are those whose polymerization reaction doesn't produce low molecular mass compounds but the bonding of molecules one after the other. Such a reaction implies that there is a rupture in the bonding between monomers (the building blocks of the polymer) to allow the formation of a chain.

Bonding an alkene to one or more alkanes or alkenes is an example of an addition polymerization.

What does the term electron orbital describe? An electron orbital describes the orbit of an electron around the nucleus. An electr
AlekseyPX

The correct answer is B. An electron orbital describes a three-dimensional space where an electron can be found 90% of the time.

Explanation:

Electrons are negatively charged particles found in atoms. These different from protons and neutrons are not located in the nucleus of the atom but orbit it. Additionally, electrons do not orbit the nucleus following a linear pattern but they have a wave-like behavior which means they move in a three-dimensional space or area known as electron orbital in which they can be found most of the time, this space of area is determined depending on energy, momentum, and other factors. Thus, an electron orbital is "a three-dimensional space where an electron can be found 90% of the time".

as a result of mitosis, each of your body cells? a. changes genetically as you grow and develops. b. contains only the genetic i
sertanlavr [38]

As a result of mitosis, each of your body cells is

c. is genetically identical to all others

Explanation:

During cellular division, the chromosomes, that have already duplicated, condense and fasten to spindle fibers that pull one copy of every body to opposite sides of the cell. The result's 2 genetically identical daughter nuclei. the remainder of the cell might then still divide by organic process to supply 2 daughter cells.
