<span>David Yalof explains the selections of nominees to the Supreme Court. He talks about different factions in the government and what has to be considered when the President makes a nomination. The President has countless resources to help in his decision making process. Yalof tells us that while the support seems to lead to better decisions, but what actually result is, groups attempting to gain the love of the president to nominate the candidate they want. Looking at the causes of change in selection process, Yalof tells us that the Supreme Court has taken a stage in Politics.</span>

People who experience a spotlight effect would perceive that they are receiving more attention from other people than they actually do.

This effect tend to be caused by irrational fear of social judgement. The fear caused personal insecurities that make the victim felt every gesture made by other people was made to mock him/her from behind.

Example of a spotlight effect is when an overweight person felt insecure about their body and falsely perceive other people who are having personal conversation behind him  are currently mocking his body.
