The burn of calories is related to gender, mass and the age. These characteristics are the same for both individuals, so you have to look for the effect of the body fat percentage.

Muscles ara active tissue which implies that at rest they burn calories in a bigger proportion than fat. So, the male with more muscles will likely burn more calories at rest.

The lower the fat percentage the higher the muscle percentage.

Than drives you to conclude that the male with 13% of body fat will burn more calories at rest than the male with 29% of body fat.

A scientist is using relative dating to determine the age of a fossil that she discovered. What would allow her to draw the best
xenn [34]

answer:

: D.finding fossils in the same area that are in layers closer to the surface.

Relative dating refers to the age estimation method in which past events are determined, to compare the age of object, organism, strata or rock with the age of other similar entity. This method gives an approximate or estimated age, it does not provide absolute age.

The older fossils are found in deeper layers of the strata as compared to younger fossils. This represents the geological time and life span of primitive or preexisting organisms. Therefore, according to the given situation, finding fossils in the same area that are in layers closer to the surface is the best conclusion

In terms of adaptation, what advantage does sexual reproduction provide for species
KengaRu [80]
Unlike other ways of reproduction, sexual reproduction provides variation through inheriting various genes. This variation is essential for adaptation as it would not just create a copy of the original life form, but rather a different unique life form that could adapt to something, and then have it's own offspring with the adapted trait.
