Answer:

Option (D) is correct.

Shyla spend $30.94 on the fabrics

Step-by-step explanation:

Shyla has a box with the dimensions of 7 inches, 11 inches, 8 inches. Since it has 3 sides thus, it is form of a cuboid.

Here Length (l) = 7 inches

Breadth (b) = 11 inches

Height (h) = 8 inches

Surface area of Cuboid = 2( lb +bh + hl )

Substitute the values, we get,

Surface area of Cuboid = 2( 7 × 11 + 11× 8 + 7 × 8 )

                                        = 2( 77 +88 +56)

                                        = 422 square inches.

Given: the fabric costs 7 cents per square inch = $0.07 per square inches.

Money  Shyla spend on the fabric = total area × cost of fabric per square inch

                                                       = 442 × 0.07

                                                       = $30.94

Thus,  Shyla spend $30.94 on the fabrics.

So , Option (D) is correct.

Given y=5x−3 with the domain D: {−2, −1, 0, 1, 2}, fill in the missing values of the table below.
spayn [35]

Answer:

see below

Step-by-step explanation:

y = 5x-3

Let x = -2  y = 5(-2) -3 = -10 -3= -13

Let x = -1  y = 5(-1) -3 = -5-3 = -8

Let x = 0   y = 5(0) -3 = 0-3 = -3

Let x = 1     y = 5(1) -3 = 5-3 = 2

Let x = 2   y = 5(2) -3 =10-3 = 7

A rectangle patio is surrounded on three sides by a fence. If the areas of the patio is 45 m sq and the total of fence is 19m wh
Eddi Din [679]
LW = 45
L + 2W = 19
L = 19-2W

substituting for L :-
W(19-2W) = 45

-2W^2 + 19W = 45

2W^2 - 19W + 45 = 0
W = 5 or 4.5

If W = 5, L = 9
If W = 4.5, L = 10

So there are 2 possible answers.
