The answer is c. you just have to look at the red line. you can tell that it is solid so you know that y has to also be equal to the value. Then you can see that it is shaded above the line so that means y is greater than the value. Then since the line is on -1 the answer has to be c, y is greater than or equal to negative 1.

Lance and Rita were tied in a game. Then Lance got these scores: 19, -7, 3, -11, 5. Rita got these scores: 25, -9, 5, -9, 8. Who
andreyandreev [35.5K]

Answer:

Rita had the higher score.   Remember to rate 5 and everything else, thanks!

Step-by-step explanation:

Lance got 19, -7, 3, -11, 5.

Rita got 25, -9, 5, -9, 8.

For Lance 19 -7 = 12 then 12 + 3 = 15 then 15 -11 = 4 then you add 5 which equals 9

For Rita 25 -9 = 16 then 16 + 5 = 21 then 21 -9 = 12 and 12 + 8 = 20

If gasp cigarettes have 5 mg tar and 0.4 mg nicotine per cigarette and there are 20 cigarettes per pack, how many cigarettes wou
Akimi4 [234]

Answer:

a) 1133.98 ≈ 1134 packs

b) 125 packs

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Tar present in 1 cigarette = 5 mg

Nicotine present in 1 cigarette = 0.4 mg

Number of cigarettes in 1 pack = 20

thus,

Tar present in 1 pack of cigarette = 5 × 20 = 100 mg

Nicotine present in 1 pack of cigarette = 0.4 × 20 = 8 mg

now,

1 oz = 28349.5 mg

thus,

for 4 oz = 4 × 28349.5 mg = 113398 mg

Therefore,

Number of packs required for 4 oz ( 113398 mg ) tar

= \frac{113398}{100}

= 1133.98 packs ≈ 1134

also,

Number of packs required for 1 g (1000 mg) nicotine

= \frac{1000}{8}

= 125 packs

there Are 3 brothers, Daryl, Malik, and Terrance who’s ages add up to 26 years. Daryl is 3 times as old as Mail, and Terrance is
Scorpion4ik [409]

Answer:

Daryl = 9, Malik = 3, Terrance = 14

Step-by-step explanation:

We can use letters to represent each brother's name, so

D + M + T = 26

3M = D

D + 5 = T

then we can plug in the 3M in the third problem for D

3M + 5 = T

Then we can go back to the first problem and plug in 3M and (3M + 5)

3M + M + (3M + 5) = 26

4M + (3M + 5) = 26

7M = 21

M = 3

plug 3 in for M in the second equation:

3 x 3 = D

D=9

Then go back to the first equation:

9 + 3 + T = 26

12 + T = 26

T = 14

So T = 14

D = 9

and M = 3

Find the measure of angle x 125
Tema [17]

Answer:

x = 125 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

The vertical angles theorem states that two angles opposite to each other that are formed from 2 intersecting lines are congruent.

Therefore, angle x and the angle that is 125 degrees are congruent to each other.

So, x=125 degrees.

Hope this helps! :)
