Hello!

Before the development of agriculture, humans were nomadic. This means that they traveled constantly to keep up with the migration of animals and other food sources. When people discovered agriculture, they discovered how to farm and grow crops. In addition, people discovered that they could herd and domesticate animals.
The development of agriculture is considered a "revolution" because humans could become sedentary (live a settled lifestyle) rather than remaining nomadic. This led to the first human civilizations which have over time developed into the world we know today.

I hope this helps you! Feel free to comment or PM me if you have any additional questions. Have a great day!

Why is Moses important in Jewish history?
vova2212 [387]

Answer: Moses has one of the key roles in the religion and history of the Jews.

Explanation:

It is possible to make a comparison with Jesus among Catholics and the Prophet Muhammad with Muslims. That would optically be Moses' significance in the Jewry religion. For the Jews, Moses is a concession between God and man. It is most significant because the Jews believe Moses led the Jews from Egyptian slavery to the promised Holy Land. According to the Jewish belief, God passed on to Moses some of the basic rules by which the Jews should live. These laws were formed in the form of the holy book of the Jews, the Torah, which God, according to Jewish belief, gave to Moses so that he could pass it on to the Jews.

In 500 words or more (no less), explain the difference between normative ethics and meta-ethics. You may use examples, but you w
Vilka [71]

Answer and explanation:

Normative ethics is a branch of ethics that reflects on what is morally right and what is wrong. It is through that reflection that principles for human behavior are established.

  • <em>"Normative ethics, that part of moral philosophy, or ethics, concerned with criteria of what is morally right and wrong". (Quoted from Britannica, link is the following: https://www.britannica.com/topic/normative-ethics)</em>

In the other hand, metha-ethics is a branch of ethics that studies metaphysical concepts regarding morality and with special emphasis if these moral values are independent of humans.

  • <em>"Metaethics is a branch of analytic philosophy that explores the status, foundations, and scope of moral values, properties, and words". (Quoted from Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy, link is the following: https://www.iep.utm.edu/metaethi/) </em>

<em />

The main difference between these two branches of philosophy/ethics is that normative ethics main focus is the morality on a certain action, whereas metaethics focus is morality itself.
