sweet [91]

Freedman says that the death penalty will eventually be abolished because it is very expensive and he feels that it reduces public safety in the sense that the people feel the death penalty is a good option. Freeman also states that the death penalty is merely a deterrent that people think capital punishment will somehow reduce crime but that it is not backed by facts.

There is an article in your local newspaper about an upcoming Biodiversity Day event at your university. Because, after studying
inysia [295]

Answer:

I will tell him the importance of Biodiversity Conservation.

Explanation:

Biodiversity is the variety of plants and animals in a particular habitat.

Sustainable natural resources conservation is a process that involves rational use and skilful management and preservation of the natural environment with all its resources. This is done to improve, maintain and protect the natural environment and its resources for the benefit of all of us. (Mankind)

Natural resources should be conserved so that ecological balance will be maintained and saved for future generations.

Therefore the proper management of a resource to prevent its destruction or exploitation To make sure human race survives is called Conservation.

The benefits of conservation includes,

Reduction of air and water pollution.

Preservation of open and green spaces.

Preservation of fish and wildlife habitats, endangered species, and biodiversity.

Managing and protecting watersheds and wetlands.

recreational amenities.

Preventing soil erosion and improving soil quality.

Then I will let him know that all these benefits can be lost by just cutting a few trees, loosing a few species and habitat in town.

Soil erosion can take place, low quality soil hence poor crop yield, we will loose those species and already there are endangered species, pollution of air and water which can lead to increase in diseases an death rate. I believe he will understand when I tell him these things.

Which of the following statements is true of offspring from organisms that reproduce asexually? A. Offspring are genetically ide
Shkiper50 [21]

I believe the answer would be A

I say this because in genetics when Mendel tested with peas plants

he allowed some to self pollinate or become asexual and the result was the offspring's appearance was identical to the parent. This finding helped with the scientific conclusion that if organisms were given a chance to self pollinate or reproduce then the child would be genetically identical.

Lol we just studied Genetics in Biology..
