Answer:

The treatment of individuals with psychological disorders in the past involved more of physical methods in treatment plans. Some weren’t palatable for the patients and new medical innovations involves that the treatment plans were now more of the use of drugs and therapy.

In the past the hospitals were they were treated was always unkempt and dirty and had issues of overcrowding in them also.
