Median is the middle number. To find median, the numbers must be ordered from least to greatest. The numbers are already ordered.

17,22,36,55,61,79

The middle numbers are 36 and 55, with 2 numbers on each side.

a, b, c, d, e, f

Add the 2 numbers and divide by 2

36 + 55 = 91

Now divide by 2

91 \div 2 = 45.5

The median is 45.5

The median should be 45.5 because when u find 2 median numbers (aka 36 and 55) then that means you have to add both median and then divide it by 2 which gives you 45.5 as the median
