"that whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it." John Locke believed that the government should bend to the people. This is why we have the first amendment, it says that we can protest our government if they do not follow the standards of Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

1. How do parties typically ensure the good performance of their candidates?
Lunna [17]

Answer:

1.) Parties typically ensure the good performances of their candidates is to B;  make sure their candidate are of good character and are qualified for public office. The party will research each candidate before they are officially entered into an election race. They want to be sure that nothing can come out during an election and hurt the person's reputation, even though this is common when the other party starts digging into someones past.

2.) The correct answer is B; To begin the nomination process by entering the race. He announced his intention for entering the Presidential race in his home state in Springfield, IL. He did go on to win the race and was the first African American president in history of the U.S.

3.) The correct answer is C; Speaker of the house. If both the President and his vice President were killed they would be replaced immediately so that the U.S will not be without a leader. The President Pro Tempore would be the 4th in line if all the president of the senate was unavailable.

4.) The correct answer is A; allowing unrestricted corporate money into federal elections means that candidates who receive that money are beholden to those corporate interests once in office. A candidate should never be controlled to do what someone who gave them money wants. They should always be ethical and do what the people want who voted for them wants.

5.) The correct answer is B; Primary with proportional rules. This can happen when the delegates are pledged to vote for whom they choose and not necessarily for the winner of the popular vote.

6.) The correct answer is C; Preside over the Senate. The vice president has many duties and speaks for the president when he is asked too. His only official job, however, is to preside over the senate. He does not have another official role in the presidents government.

7.) The correct answer is D; an elector who does not vote for the the person who won the state's popular vote. The elector does not have to vote for the popular choice even though it seems that it is what the state wants. Each state is given a set amount of votes and can decide themselves based on their own criteria how they vote.

8.) The correct answer is b; senate. The Senate is the only ones allowed to count the official electoral vote. The votes are actually counted officially in the January proceeding the election. This is done right before a new president is welcomed into office. They do give the official results on the night of the election unless there is an issue and the votes need to be recounted.

9.) The correct answer is D; a natural born citizen of the United States. A person who was not born here cannot run in an election to become the President. There are also some legal requirements that must be met before a person runs. They must be over the age of 35. Anyone can enter the race if they meet these requirements. These requirements have been laws since Washington was our President.

Bertha met two students from another school at a convention. She enjoyed their company a great deal and was very impressed with
BARSIC [14]

The correct answer is inductive reasoning

Inductive reasoning is present in our daily lives and also in many researches and theories in the different exact and human sciences. We base many of our actions and acquire many beliefs through an assessment of everyday situations. This procedure, however, does not start with manifestly true propositions and often leads us to error.

While deduction establishes truths, induction aims at rational or probable conclusions. This distinction is important, since the reasoning that starts from the contingent does not reach conclusions by logical implication. It would be impossible, for example, to deduce which of several candidates will be the most voted in an election - such an attempt would be mere supposition. What can be rationally accepted is to establish the probability of each candidate being elected, based on the opinions of voters.
