$6.84 divided by 18= .38 which means 38 cents per pen

$8.40 divided by 30= .28 which means 28 cents per pen

so $8.40 for 30 pens is a better deal than 18 pens for $6.84 by ten cents.

I would say 18 pens for $6.84 is a better deal because its cheaper.

The figure shows a circle circumscribed around a triangle. what is constructed first when creating the circle?
vampirchik [111]

Answer:

Option B is right

Step-by-step explanation:

We have in a triangle there are some properties inherent.

One is the perpendicular bisectors of all sides are concurrent.

These three concur at a point called the circumcentre of the triangle.

When we draw perpendicular bisector for a side AB, we get that all points on the perpendicular bisector are equidistance from A and B.

When we take the point of intersection of perpendicular bisector of AB and BC, we have the intersecting point S(say) is equidistant from A and B and also from B and C

In short this is equidistant from all 3 vertices and hence is centre of circumcicle of triangle ABC

1. Edgar measures the temperature of a solution at the beginning of an experiment to be 23°F . He monitors the
PIT_PIT [208]

The average change in temperature in each minute would be A) -1.1ºF and B) -1.7ºF.

To A) write an expression that represents the average change in temperature each minute, and B) if Edgar repeats the experiment and finds the average change in temperature each minute is 1 ° F greater in the second trial than in the first trial, to determine what is the average change in temperature each minute in the second trial of the experiment, the following calculations must be performed:

A)

(-2 x 4 + -3 x 3 + 6) / 10 = X

(-8 + -9 + 6) / 10 = X

-11 / 10 = X

-1.1 = X

B)

(-3 x 4 + -4 x 3 + 7) / 10 = X

(-12 + -12 + 7) / 10 = X

-17/10 = X

-1.7 = X

Therefore, the average change in temperature in each minute would be A) -1.1ºF and B) -1.7ºF.
