This festival took place in 1969 on a new york dairy farm, was considered a pivotal moment in music history and was immortalized
GuDViN [60]
I would say that Woodstock would be the name of this famous music festival. It was an event popular with the counter-culture hippie society and also featured well known protest singers like Joan Baez. It was planned for 50,000 people but actually something like 500,000 came! A lot of sex, drugs and rock and roll music happened there. The organizers had to allow it to be free since 50,000 people entered the area before the gates were up but they recouped some losses from it with the film on it.

Read this excerpt from an 1882 contract, and then
boyakko [2]

Answer:

A landowner's point of view.

Explanation:

The given passage is from the contract between a landowner and a sharecropper titled "A Sharecrop Contract" (1882). The contract clearly states the terms of the agreement, which mostly agrees or favors the landowner's interest.

The contract, and especially the given points mostly make points for the interest of the landowner. And the contract seems to be written from the landowner's point of view, for it clearly states the other party as <em>"[they] must sow and plow"</em> which can only be the other person and not the landowner. landowners will not sow or plow the land, so it is quite obvious that the contract has been written from the landowner's point of view.

!!BRAINLIEST FIRST ANSWER!!
antoniya [11.8K]

Answer:

Correct answers are:

The Mardi Gras tradition is celebrated with grand parades in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and  Uruguay.

Many people in Chile, Argentina, Ecuador and Peru practice Roman Catholicism.

In most Latin American countries, the majority of locals speak Spanish.

Explanation:

First option is correct because it says that members of four countries are celebrating a certain tradition, which shows that it has spread across the continent.

Second option if false, because it says that this are popular in the same country, not more.

Third is correct, because as in first option it mentions that in four countries (at least) people have same religion.

Fourth is false, similar like the second, because it says that only in one country Portuguese is the official language.

Fifth is correct because it says that in most of the countries something is similar. In this case, it is the language.
