Well dude im sorry if you don't like my answer but here we go; Nature played a major role in Native American literature. They would often use scenery to express tone and the message of the story. If the story needed to be gloomy then it would be in a dark forest. Native Americans used nature to even write poems and stories. They often wrote stories about nature itself.
