1.y-4.90 = 2.4(x-1) 2. 24x-10y= -25

Step-by-step explanation:

The point-slope form of an equation is written as ;

y-y₁ = m(x-x₁) where the focus is on the slope of the line and a point on the line.

In this case, y-4.90 = 2.4(x-1)

The standard form an equation is written as :

Ax+By=C ,where x and y are variables and A,B and C are integers.

In this case; 24x-10y= -25

Can someone help me with this question?
charle [14.2K]
Finding the sol'n to f(x) - g(x) = 0 is the same as finding the solution of f(x)=g(x).  You could do this analytically by setting the actual function f(x) = g(x) and solving for x (and then for y), or you could estimate the solution from the given graph.  The two lines intersect at approx. x=-3.75, y=2.5.
