P = 2(L + W)
P = 2(12 + 8)
P = 2(20)
P = 40.....so there is 40 meters of fence around the pool. If a post was placed every 2 meters, then u would have (40 / 2) = 20 posts <=

umka21 [38]
A product is the result of multiplication.
A quotient is the result of division.
So you're trying to find the quotient of a number (x) and 5 that equals 8.

Try plugging in the answers.
  x/5=8

A. x=4
  4/5=8  (Incorrect, 4 divided by 5 is 0.8)

B. x=8
  8/5=8  (Incorrect, 8 divided by 5 is 1.6)

C. x=40
  40/5=8  (Correct, 40 divided by 5 is 8)

D. x=80
  80/5=8  (Incorrect, 80 divided by 5 is 16)

So your answer is C. 40
The quotient of 40 and 5 is 8.
