Answer:

 (x +4)^2 -13

Step-by-step explanation:

A binomial cannot be a perfect square, so we interpret the problem to mean "find an equivalent expression than includes the square of a binomial."

The equivalent expression we're usually interested in is the one known as "vertex form." We can add and subtract the square of half the x-coefficient to help find that form:

 (x^2 +8x +16) +(3 -16) . . . . . . . we added (8/2)^2 -(8/2)^2

 (x +4)^2 -13 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . express the trinomial as a square, simplify

Circumference and area of circles

The formula for calculating the area of circle is expressed as;

A = πr²

r is the radius of the circle

If r = 875ft

A = 3.14(875)²

A = 2,404,062.5squar feet

For the diameter = 1715feet

r = 1715/2

A = 3.14(1715/2)²

A =2,308,861.625 square feet

For the third portion has a 5305 feet circumference;

5305 = 2(3.14)r

r = 844.74ft

A = 3.14(844.74)^2

A = 2,240,686.70

If the daughter does not want more than 2,250,000 square feet of the corn maze, hence she will choose all the portions

Pls help me this is a huge packet
Darina [25.2K]

Is there only choices A and B?

From the choices I can see you don’t even have to do any work. The equation starts with (y =). This indicates you will be working with the y intercept. The y intercept is simply where the line crosses on the y axis. In this graph, the y intercept is 2.5. Out of your choices (A and B that I can see) only one contains + 2.5.

B is your answer UNLESS there are choices c and d that are cut out.

Jonathan’s parents told him that for every 5 hours of homework or reading he completes, he will be able to play 3 hours of video
Studentka2010 [4]
So, to set up this equation, lets just say that Lucas did 5 hours of homework also. The ratio of Lucas's homework to video games is 60 minutes of homework/30 minutes of video games. If we converted the 5 hours into 300 minutes then you would multiply the 60 minutes by 5 and the 30 minutes by 5 also. You would get 300 minutes/150 minutes. Jonathan's ratio is every 5 hours of homework/3 hours of video games. We would convert this to minutes by taking both numbers and multiplying them by 60. We would get 300 minutes/180 minutes. Using this we know that Jonathan gets more time to play video games because every 5 hours of homework he gets 180 minutes of gaming and for Lucas, every 5 hours of homework he only gets 150 minutes of gaming. I hope that this helped you!
