Answer:

A. A disease in the population of rabbits.

Explanation:

I would say it is as a result of disease in the population of rabbits.

From the graph we would see that the grass population gradually increased this is as a result of the number of rabbits feeding on it decreased.

The four populations started out at their ideal values, it is likely that these changes were the result of a disease.

Because the rabbit population was the first to decrease, it is most likely that the disease occurred in the rabbit population, once this happen the snake population then decreased because its food supply (the rabbits) decreased. Since the snake population decreased, the hawk feeding on the snake population also decreased.

So the answer is A

A disease in the population of rabbits.

Based on the graph, you can see that the population of grass is high, which indicates that the one that feeds on them has been affected. Logically, the rabbits are those that feed on it and as you can see, their population has lowered, and so did the snakes and the hawk.

So among the choices, B. a disease in the population of rabbits may have lead to the graph shown.

How is the blending theory of inheritance useful in genetics?
makkiz [27]

Charles Darwin's theory of pangenesis, in which every part of the body contributes to an egg or sperm, implied blending inheritance. Darwin's theory of natural selection was founded on the premise that blending inheritance would average out any novel beneficial trait before selection could act.

What is blending inheritance?

Blending inheritance is an outmoded biological theory from the nineteenth century. According to the theory, children inherit any characteristic as the average of their parents' values for that characteristic.

As an example, a cross between a red flower variety and a white variety of the same species would result in pink-flowered offspring.

Charles Darwin's theory of pangenesis, in which every part of the body contributes to an egg or sperm, implied blending inheritance.

Darwin's theory of natural selection was founded on the premise that blending inheritance would average out any novel beneficial trait before selection could act.

Thus, this can be the importance of blending inheritance.

Hemophilia is a condition in which blood does not clot naturally, and a person with hemophilia could bleed to death if injured.
barxatty [35]

As we know our blood has four main components which are plasma, red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets. That is why a hemophiliac must receive regular injections of platelets to stay alive. This is done by injecting into their bloodstream human plasma which contains many proteins, glucose, clotting factors, electrolytes, hormones, and carbon dioxide.
