60 children tickets and 190 adult tickets were sold.

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

Let the no. of adult tickets sold be 'a'

Let the no. of children tickets sold be 'c'

Total tickets sold = 250

Cost of 1 children ticket = $2.5

Cost of 1 adult ticket = $4

Total money collected= $910

Given that,

a + c = 250

a = 250 - c

4a + 2.5c = 910

Substitute a value

4(250 - c) + 2.5c = 910

1000 - 4c + 2.5c = 910

1000 - 1.5c = 910

-1. 5c = -90

1.5c = 90

c = 90/1.5

c = 60

a + c = 250

a + 60 = 250

a = 190

60 children tickets and 190 adult tickets were sold.

So, we have the following equation...

3^2*3^3=(?)

Remember 3^2 and 3^3 is the following...

3^2=3*3\\3^3=3*3*3

Therefore, 3*3=9\\3*3*3=27\\9*27=243

So, your final answer is \boxed{243}.

Suppose that birth weights are normally distributed with a mean of 3466 grams and a standard deviation of 546 grams. Babies weig
Anon25 [30]

Answer:

3.84% probability that it has a low birth weight

Step-by-step explanation:

Problems of normally distributed samples are solved using the z-score formula.

In a set with mean \mu and standard deviation \sigma, the zscore of a measure X is given by:

Z = \frac{X - \mu}{\sigma}

The Z-score measures how many standard deviations the measure is from the mean. After finding the Z-score, we look at the z-score table and find the p-value associated with this z-score. This p-value is the probability that the value of the measure is smaller than X, that is, the percentile of X. Subtracting 1 by the pvalue, we get the probability that the value of the measure is greater than X.

In this problem, we have that:

\mu = 3466, \sigma = 546

If we randomly select a baby, what is the probability that it has a low birth weight?

This is the pvalue of Z when X = 2500. So

Z = \frac{X - \mu}{\sigma}

Z = \frac{2500 - 3466}{546}

Z = -1.77

Z = -1.77 has a pvalue of 0.0384

3.84% probability that it has a low birth weight

7.6.35 Question Help A pilot can travel 400 miles with the wind in the same amount of time as 352 miles against the wind. Find t
Law Incorporation [45]

9514 1404 393

Answer:

  21 miles per hour

Step-by-step explanation:

Let w represent the wind speed. Then the travel time is ...

  400/(329 +w) = 352/(329 -w)

  400(329 -w) = 352(329 +w)

  (352+400)w = 329(400 -352)

  w = (400 -352)/(400 +352)·329 = 48/752·329 = 21

The wind speed is 21 miles per hour.

irina [24]

Answer:

24%

She didn't climb any trees.

Step-by-step explanation:

There are a total of 25 trees

6 were Elm Trees

The fraction of trees that were Elm trees are 6 / 25

Converting this fraction to percentage = 6 / 25 x 100 = 24%

The question doesn't provide any information on if she climbed any trees
