Have there own emergency kit for there own preparation. With reinforced windows and doors. A generator for if the power goes out. And a little news radio or your phone to hear the current conditons. I lived in florida and this is how we prepared and houses were built with stronger windows from what i understood but if not they where addons.

The influx of Na+ from the scala vestibuli is critical in mechanotransduction to occur in the vestibular system.
sergij07 [2.7K]

Answer:

True

Explanation:

The scala vestibuli contain perilymph in which there is a domination of Na+ ion which is K+ in endolymph. endolymph has domination of K+ because they have very large potential as compared to perilymph this is also called endocochlear potential . there is a potential difference of about 150 mV across the stereocillary membranes that drive cations through mechanotransduction channels

What is sampling error, and how can scientists reduce this type of error?
miss Akunina [59]
 1. Sampling error is the error caused by observing a sample instead of the whole population.
 2. Scientists can reduce sampling error by taking observations from population

What is a sampling error?

Sampling error is a kind of experimental error that occurs when statistical characteristics of a population are estimated from a sample.

For example, the difference between a population mean and a sample mean is referred to as sampling error.

Scientists can reduce sampling error by taking observations from population rather than just a subset of the population.

How do fungi differ from plants?
SpyIntel [72]

Answer:

Plants use sunlight and water to get energy. Fungi eat decayed things.

Explanation:

Also, they are different in two other important ways: 1) fungi cell walls are composed of chitin rather than cellulose (plants) and 2) fungi do not make their own food like plants do through photosynthesis. They are eukaryotic. They get their food by decomposing matter or eating off their hosts as parasites. Like I said above, they eat dead things.
