Well other ways to represent data in a dot plot would be to convert into a graph or chart. But, for summary, you can take the data and place it in a pie chart to show percentages and increase (or decrease) in the data you took.

A gold, a silver, and a bronze medal are awarded in an Olympic event. In how many possible ways can the medals be awarded for a
RideAnS [48]

Answer:

720 possible ways

Step-by-step explanation:

The gold is awarded to the first position, the silver is awarded to the second position while the bronze is awarded to the third position.

The first position can be taken by any of the 10 runners

Now, the second position can be taken by remaining 9 runners

while the third position can be taken by the renaming 8 runners.

Thus, the number of ways in which these medals can be awarded = 10 * 9 * 8 = 720 ways

the drama club ordered 15 pizzas for the cast party if the 25 members ate 12 1/2 pizzas out of the 15 how much pizza did each ca
iogann1982 [59]
So we're going to divide those 12-and-a-half by 25 members to find how much each member ate. 12-and-a-half converted into a decimal is 12.50, and 12.50 divided by 25 is 0.5.

Each member had 0.5 of a slice of a pizza, or fraction-wise, each member had half a slice of pizza.

Find the area of a triangular prism
Alex
Here, we need to find the area of a circle.
So, area of a circle = πr²
= 3.14 * (10, 000)²
= 3.14 * 100,000,000
= 314,000,000 ft²

In short, Your Answer would be Option A

Hope this helps!

Ben is building a workshop in his backyard with dimensions as shown in the figure. Ben is planning to air-condition the workshop
Irina18 [472]

Answer:

2160 BTU

Step-by-step explanation:

Ben looks at his plan and realizes that his building can be viewed as a triangular prism sitting on a cube.

Calculating the volume of a cube is easy… Length x Width x Height (LWH)… so 12 x 10 x 8 = 120 x 8 = 960 cubic feet for the cube part.

For the prism, it’s almost the same… but divided by 2 : (LWH)/2, so… (12 x 10 x 2) / 2 = (120 x 2) / 2 = 240 / 2 = 120 cubic feet for the prism part.

Total for the building : 960 + 120 = 1080 cubic feet

Since 2 BTU per cubic foot, the power of the unit needs to be at least  1080 x 2 = 2160 BTU.
