It appears you are looking for x.
1.4+2/5x=3/15x-.08

you have to isolate the x
 first add .08 to both sides
1.48+2/5=3/15x
i would now find the equivalence fraction of 2/5 with the denominator of 15. To do this you have to multiply 5 by 3 to get 15 so, you multiply the original numerator to get the equivalent one. 2(3)=6
1.48+6/15x=3/15x
now i am going to subtract 6/15x from both sides
1.48=  -3/15x
to get rid of the fraction i am going to convert it to a decimal.
-3/15= -.2

1.48= -.2x

now i have to divide both sides by -.2
7.4=x

A football is kicked toward the goal. The height of the ball is modeled by the function h(x) = -16t^2 + 64t where t equals the t
zloy xaker [14]
We are given with the function that expresses the height of the football over time in the equation <span>h(x) = -16t^2 + 64t. To determine the axis of symmetry, we determine the time when it reaches the maximum height. we derive the equation and equate to zero to get t. -32t +64 = 0. t is equal to 2 seconds. Substituting, to the original equation, h(x) is 64. Hence the axis of symmetry is y = 32. </span>

How many solutions does this system have? <br> 12x+9y=-36 <br> 4x+3y=-12
amid [387]

Answer:

C infinitely many solutions

Step-by-step explanation:

multiply second equation by -3

-3 × (4x + 3y) = -12 ➡ -12x - 9y = 36 now add this to second equation

12x + 9y -12x -9y = -36 + 36 ➡0 = 0

we say there's infinite solutions because whatever value you write for x and/or y there will be a solution.

Tema [17]

Answer:

1

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's solve your equation step-by-step.

2x+1=−x+4

Step 1: Add x to both sides.

2x+1+x=−x+4+x

3x+1=4

Step 2: Subtract 1 from both sides.

3x+1−1=4−1

3x=3

Step 3: Divide both sides by 3.

3x
