Answer:

The Tone

Explanation:

Conditioned Stimulus is a psychological term that describes the once neutral stimulus, in which certain individual or organism later learned, to make a response after becoming associated with the unconditioned stimuls

Hence, given the example in the question above, which is considered as classical conditioning, the puff of air is UNCONDITIONED STIMULUS, the blinking of an eye in response to the puff of air is an UNCONDITIONED RESPONSE, and the tone sound when a puff of air is perceived is the CONDITIONED STIMULUS. Therefore, at this stage, the response is considered as the Conditioned Response.

Which most contributed to an absence of national identity in newly independent countries?
Rina8888 [55]

Boundaries that disregarded ethnic and religious differences most contributed to an absence of national identity in newly independent countries.

Explanation:

The powers that granted independence to the countries they ruled for long periods, also usually interfered in demarcating the boundaries of the regions before granting independence.

This demarcation of boundaries was not always done on the basis of ethnic and religious differences in the region. Thus, it often made the newly independent countries experience a lack of national identity among the people of the countries.
