cat eye syndrome is a genetic disorder that affect different parts of the body such as eyes, ears, kidney and heart. it is a disorder resulting from presence of extra small extra chromosome with genetic material from chromosome number 22. sign and symptoms are usually seen in the affected parts of the body. since it affects different parts of the body, treatment involves a group of doctors as well as other healthcare professionals. there are several medical interventions depending on the part of the body affected. they include surgery for heart defects and cleft lip and physical therapy for children with motor problems.

Unfortunatelly, specific treatment of this chromosomal disease does not currently exist. For the stimulation of psychomotor development under the supervision of pediatric neurologists courses of drug therapy, massage, physiotherapy, exercise therapy. Children with the syndrome of "cat eye syndrome" need the help of psychologists. Congenital heart defects in the syndrome of "cat screaming" often require surgical correction, so children need consultation of a cardiac surgeon and other relevant studies. Children with pathology of the urinary system should be supervised by a pediatric nephrologist and periodically undergo a series of necessary examinations.

Menopause is caused by
Colt1911 [192]

Answer:

A) reduced synthesis of ovarian steroids despite high levels of gonadotropin hormones.

Explanation:

Menopause is characterized by depletion of ovarian follicles, a reduction of ovarian hormones to castrate levels and elevated levels of serum gonadotropins. Rather than degenerating, the reproductive neuroendocrine axis in postmenopausal women is intact and responds robustly to the removal of ovarian hormones.

Menopause marks the cessation in reproductive cycles of middle-aged women. It is heralded by depletion of ovarian follicles leading to the loss of ovarian hormones with repercussions throughout the body.

Parathyroid hormone is the major regulator of the plasma concentration of__________ ions
photoshop1234 [79]

Answer:

Calcium

Explanation:

Parathyroid hormone (PTH) is a hormone that is secreted by the parathyroid gland. It is the major regulator of the plasma concentration of calcium ions. It regulates calcium ions in the kidney, intestine and bones.

In the kidney, is involved in the re-absorption of calcium in distal ducts and the renal collecting duct, it is also involved in activating the conversion of 25-hydroxy vitamin D into 1,25-dihydroxy vitamin D (calcitriol).

In the intestine, PTH is involved in the absorption of calcium, by increasing vitamin D production.

In the bone, it helps in regulating calcium levels; when serum calcium level is low, PTH stimulates the activity of the osteoclast, to produce more calcium.

Similarities between humans and snails.
Gennadij [26K]

Answer:

Explanation:

Biologists have tracked down genes that control the handedness of snail shells, and they turn out to be similar to the genes used by humans to set up the left and right sides of the body.

The finding, reported online in advance of publication in Nature by University of California, Berkeley, researchers, indicates that the same genes have been responsible for establishing the left-right asymmetry of animals for 500-650 million years, originating in the last common ancestor of all animals with bilateral body organization, creatures that include everything from worms to humans.

"Previous studies indicated that the methods for breaking left-right symmetry in animals seem to differ widely, so there was nothing suggesting that the common ancestor of humans, snails and other bilateral organisms had a common strategy for left-right asymmetry," said Nipam H. Patel, UC Berkeley professor of integrative biology and of molecular and cell biology, and an investigator of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
