16,700,000,000,000,000 = 1.67 x 10^16

start at the last 0....count the number of spaces till u can get a decimal right after the first digit....thats 16 spaces. Now take ur numbers that are not 0...1.67....and multiply it by 10^16...because of the 16 spaces. I hope I am making some kind of sense...I am better at doing then explaining how to do...lol

First, the number of zeros you have is the power of 10 and as a product, it would look like:
167*10^14.

But we need a number with a single digit which means we have to divide 167 by 100=10^2. In order to have the same equation, we need also to multiply by <span>10^2. Now it would look like:
</span>
1.67 * 10^14* 10^2 = 1.67* 10^16
Now 1.67 rounded up is 2. The final solution is:

2* 10^16

Which is a solution -2x-y=1 and -4x-2y=-1
grin007 [14]

Answer:

No solutions.

Step-by-step explanation:

-2x -  y = 1

-4x - 2y = -1 Multiply the first equation By  -2:

4x + 2y = -2  Adding:

0 = -3

which is absurd so there are no solutions.

Step-by-step explanation:

Look at the picture.

|x-a|\geq b\\\\a=\dfrac{-9+(-5)}{2}=\dfrac{-14}{2}=-7\\\\b=-9-(-7)=-9+7=-2\\b=-5-(-7)=-5+7=2\\\\|x-(-7)|\geq2\\\\|x+7|\geq2\\\\Check:\\\\|x+7|\geq2\iff x+7\geq2\ \vee\ x+7\leq-2\qquad\text{subtract 7 from both sides}\\\\x+7-7\geq2-7\ \vee\ x+7-7\leq-2-7\\\\x\geq-5\ \vee\ x\leq-9\qquad CORRECT\ :)
