Given:

Reserve requirement = 10%
Deposit = $5400

Find:

money the supply could expand = ?

Solution:

Money Supply = Monetary Base × Money Multiplier

Before we determine the money supply, the money multiplier must already be determined. Therefore:
$5400 (0.10) = $540

In this case, adding the two will give us the money supply
$5400 + $540 = $5940

Nevertheless, not all money is lent out or spent. Kept money reduces the money supply.

The restrain to the growth of the money supply when deposits expand are identified by 2 factors:

1.       The amount above (excess reserves) what they are required to hold are being kept.

2.       Their income rises as the public has the penchant to hold more cash as their income.

Jacob is selling candy bars for his basketball team he already sold 23 but he wants to sell 200 he is able to sell 15 per day ho
Nataly_w [17]

Answer:

11.8 days

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Sales per day: 15 candy bars

Goal: 200 candy bars

Already sold: 23 candy bars

With this information, we can set up an equation to find out how many days it will take him to reach his goal.

Let d = days; solve for d.

15d + 23 = 200

15d=177

d=11.8

In conclusion, it will take Jacob 11.8 days to reach his goal of 200 candy bars.

Tanya drove 312 hours and used 13 tanks of gas.
laila [671]
First you would take 312 and divide it by 13. Using that answer and put it over 1. Then times the answer that you just got by twelve. Then put that in a mixed number in its simplest form.
