The components of the urinary tract from the renal pelvis outward are renal pelvis, calyces, medulla, cortex, kidney, ureter, renal vein, renal artery

Further explanation

In humans, the renal pelvis is the point where the two or three major calyces join together. The renal pelvis is divided into two or three spaces such as the major calyces which in turn divide into further minor calyces.

The urinary tract is the body's drainage system to remove urine, which is composed of wastes and extra fluid

The components of the urinary tract from the renal pelvis outward are renal pelvis, calyces, medulla, cortex, kidney, ureter, renal vein, renal artery

 1. The renal pelvis and calyces are embedded in the fatty tissue of the sinus renalis.
 2. The renal medulla is the innermost part of the kidney.
 3. The renal cortex is the outer portion of the kidney between the renal capsule and the renal medulla.
 4. The kidneys are two bean-shaped organs found in vertebrates and it is essential for balancing the body's internal environment.
 5. Ureters are tubes made of smooth muscle fibers that propel urine from the kidneys to the urinary bladder.
 6. The renal veins are veins that drain the kidney. Renal veins are connect the kidney to the inferior vena cava and carry the blood filtered by the kidney.
 7. The renal artery is one of these two blood vessels and it is the only vascular supply to the kidneys.

This are the components of the urinary tract from the renal pelvis outward. Renal Pelvis

As the kidneys make urine, it assemble within the kidneys in structures called the calices. Ureters

Urine passage way from the renal pelvis to the ureters. The urinary bladder is the organ that briefly stores the urine. The bladder can keep approximately 35 oz. of urine. The urethra is the last component of the urinary tract. Urine enters the urethra at the trigon area of the bladder, then passes through the urethra to exit the body.

Multiple sclerosis and atherosclerosis are similar in that they both refer to:
alukav5142 [94]

The conditions mentioned are both a type of sclerosis, which refers to the hardening of a certain anatomical feature.

In atherosclerosis, the affected anatomical feature is the artery. This is a condition that causes the obstructions of blood flow through the artery as a result of plaque buildup along the artery walls. Unlike with MS, atherosclerosis does not present symptoms until the obstructions are severe or the plaque loosens, which can lead to heart attacks, among other consequences.

In the case of Multiple Sclerosis, the affected anatomical structure is that of the nerve. This is a condition for unknown reasons, causes the immune system to attack the myelin covers of nerve cells which act to protect the cell. The absence of this cover causes the build-up of plaque along the nerve axon, stiffening and disrupting the communication of the nerves with the central nervous system.

Based on the risk factors discussed in the film, which of the following groups should consider taking vitamin D supplements to a
Inga [223]

Answer:

D) Children born to parents with dark skin living far away from the equator

Explanation:

Rickets is a disease condition in children which is characterized by the softening and weakening of the bones caused by the deficiency of vitamin D.

Vitamin D is responsible the absorption of calcium and calcium plays a role in the formation of stronger bones and teeth.

Children born to parents with dark skin living far away from the equator are at a risk of developing rickets. As vitamin D is majorly naturally produced in our skin on exposure to sunlight, a dark skin prevents adequate penetration of sunlight into the skin.

Also, living far away from the equator where there is little sunlight all year, complicates the issue.

In order to resolve this, such kids should be given vitamin D supplements to meet their daily needs.
