At the farmers market two pounds of peaches cost 4.20 how much would five pounds cost show work
Marizza181 [45]

Hey!

You can make a proportion:

\frac{2}{\$ 4.20} = \frac{5}{x}

Cross multiply

\$ 4.20 \times 5 = \$ 21

Divide by 2

\$ 21 \div 2 = \$ 10.5

<em>5 pounds would cost $10.50</em>

Good luck and hope this helps! :)

The correct option is: Option (C) 2

Explanation:

The slope formula is = m = \frac{y_2 - y_1}{x_2 - x_1}

Insert the values in the above formula:

m = \frac{4 - (-4)}{7 - 3} =  \frac{8}{4} = 2
