Answer:

B). Paragraph 3.

Explanation:

Counterarguments function to invalidate the prior claims or arguments proposed in an essay, paper, or text. Thus, they need to be addressed carefully by offering sufficient evidence to substantiate your actual claim or idea which is here about 'the importance of immigration reform'. In the given example, paragraph 3 aptly addresses the counterclaim('Immigrants drain resources from American citizens') by proposing relevant factual evidence that 'immigrants contribute to the U.S. economy' that strengthens the original claim of the author. Thus, option B is the correct answer.

I would say B: Paragraph 3

This would be a good place to place a counterclaim where your claim is "Immigrant contribute to the US economy" so you can show your unbiased and state "Yeah they effect our economy but sometimes in a bad way as they can drain us of our resources and negatively affect it"

What setback or setbacks have experienenced in your life how have you overcome your setbacks
Irina18 [472]

Answer:

Explanation:

How I've Learned To Overcome Setbacks In My Life And Career ... I didn't learn from it–and the many people I know that have done the same. ... One example of a setback would be if you had a project slated to start on

1. Setbacks are usually relatively minor–“hiccups,” really, in that they don't actually stop you. They're more like speed bumps–they simply slow you down. Think of them as a problem that makes your progress harder or success less likely. Roadblocks are obstacles that do a little bit more than just slow you down.
