It takes 1.58 seconds.

The equation to represent this is of the form h(t) = -16t²+v₀t+h₀, where -16 is the gravitational constant, v₀ is the initial velocity, and h₀ is the initial height.  We do not have an initial velocity, since the balloon is dropped.  The initial height is 40.  This gives us the function
h(t) = -16t² + 40.

We will set this equal to 0:
0 = -16t² + 40

Subtract 40 from both sides:
0-40 = -16t² + 40 - 40
-40 = -16t²

Divide both sides by -16:
-40/-16 = -16t²/-16
2.5 = t²

Take the square root of both sides:
√2.5 = √t²
1.58 = t

Answer:

ok so the graph tells you 24 seconds by 4 ounces

Step-by-step explanation:

The point where both lines meet is the point where they are both equal.

The point where both lines meet is (24,4)

Since the x-axis represents seconds the x-coordinate will represent the number of seconds it takes for them to be equal which is 24.

Since the y-axis represents ounces the y-coordinate will represent the number of ounces they have when they are equal which is 4.

Congruent means they are the same size

To prove the two triangles are congruent you would need to know the length of at least two of the sides. If two sides were not known you would need to know the length of one side and at least one of the unknown angles.

Costom duty of 30 % is charged when electrical item are imported. If 9000 rupees has to be paid as customs duty when an item of
suter [353]

Answer:

30,000 rupees

Step-by-step explanation:

Percentage of custom duty = 30%

Amount of custom duty = 9000 rupees

Let

x = value of the item which is being imported

30% of x = 9000 rupees

30/100 * x = 9000

0.3 * x = 9000

0.3x = 9000

x = 9,000/0.3

x = 30,000 rupees

x = value of the item which is being imported = 30,000 rupees
