Ok so set your two equations on top of each other

6x + 4y = 32
-6x + 4y = 8
-------------------------------

notice that 6x and the -6x will be 0 so they get eliminated

so what do we have left after getting ride of those

4y = 32
4y = 8
-----------------------

so now lets keep adding down

8y = 40

now solve for y but dividing so y = 5

now that you know what your (y) value is y = 5 take 5 and plug it back into one of the original equations to get your x value. I chose the following

6x + 4y = 32
6x + 4(5) = 32
6x + 20 = 32
6x = 12
x = 2

so your point is ( 2 , 5 )

hope this helps

_____
X2- X1
2. Replace the numbers
M = 3 - 4.
———
1-3
Subtract
3. You get -1/-2
4. Divide you get 0.5
( but if you need rise and run use -1/-2) rise top run bottom
Slope is 0.5 I think

Which graph represents the function f(x) = (x – 3)2? On a coordinate plane, a parabola opens up. It goes through (negative 6, 8)
solniwko [45]

Answer:To get the graph of the given parabola, we will use the equation of the parabola to check if given points in options are lying on that parabola or not. If they lie on the graph of parabola, then they would satisfy the equation, else not. We will use vertex form of parabola to get its vertex.

Thus, by below shown calculations, we have

Option A: On a coordinate plane, a parabola opens up. It goes through (-6, 0), has a vertex at (-2, -8), and goes through (2,0)

I need help On these 8 questions that are blank
Ostrovityanka [42]

Answer:

X = 5

Step-by-step explanation:

3x + 12 + 9x = 72

okay hopefully i can explain so when your doing this combine like terms so

3x + 9x = 12x

12x + 12 = 72

then you would subtract both sides by 12

+12 = subtract x+12=2

- 12 = add x-12=2

there just flipped so in this case i would subtract 12

12x + ( 12-12) = ( 72-12 )

so 12-12 = 0 and 72-12 is equal to 60

12x = 60

the divide on both sides l but leave the x alone so its just 60 divided by 12 wich is 5

so X = 5

hope this helps with ur homework a little btw go back and redo ur other awnsers with this new concept hope it helps
