The fundamental characteristic that all atoms of the same element share is the number of protons. All atoms of hydrogen have one and only one proton in the nucleus; all atoms of iron have 26 protons in the nucleus. This number of protons is so important to the identity of an atom that it is called the atomic number of the element. Thus, hydrogen has an atomic number of 1, while iron has an atomic number of 26. Each element has its own characteristic atomic number.

The answer is E

Does it take faster for sugar or color (tint) to dissolve in water and WHY?
Ne4ueva [31]

Answer:that sugar dissolves faster in a warm liquid than in a cool

Explanation:

Molecular diffusion, often simply called diffusion, is the thermal motion of all (liquid or gas) particles at temperatures above absolute zero. The rate of this movement is a function of temperature, viscosity of the fluid and the size (mass) of the particles. Diffusion explains the net flux of molecules from a region of higher ... Lead (II) nitrate reacts with ammonium carbonate to produce ammonium nitrate
vitfil [10]

Pb(NO₃)₂ + (NH₄)₂CO₃ → PbCO₃ + 2 NH₄NO₃

Explanation:

Reaction of lead (II) nitrate with ammonium carbonate will produce lead (II) carbonate and ammonium nitrate.

The balanced chemical equation is:

Pb(NO₃)₂ + (NH₄)₂CO₃ → PbCO₃ + 2 NH₄NO₃

To balance the chemical equation the number of atoms of each element   entering the reaction have to be equal to the number of atoms of each   element leaving the reaction, in order to conserve the mass.
