Prevention for seafood toxins is done by purchasing predatory tropical reef fish from reputable places.

Explanation;

-Foodborne illness is an illness carried or transmitted to people by food. Issues w/ compromised immune systems, an outbreak is if 2 or more people experience the same illness after eating the same food.

-Scombroid poisoning is histamine poisoning, when T-T abused bacteria on the fish make the toxin cannot be detected by smell or taste (happens when its not cold enough on boat during fish transportation, needs to be below 41). Foods at risk includes; Tuna, bonito, mackerel, mahi mahi, sardines, herring.
