This is a hard question to answer due to how vague it is, but simply put AMERICA
Answer:
b. It was the first to publish news promptly and give daily coverage to business, sports, and women's news.
Explanation:
The New York Herald by James Gordon Bernette was first to cover a great deal of other areas that were previously considered not newsworthy such as finance, sports,theatre,societal affairs, arts and culture, and foreign events. He was also known for prompt delivery,making use of carrier pigeons and the telegraph to facilitate this easily.
C. Woman gain more rights
I am posting the same answer I gave to the other student asking him the exact same question;
At the end of the Cold war the USA, in essence, ran an Arms Race for one. The method is deterrence-to make such a large arsenal of weapons that for any other nation to build up arms all but useless. With one dominant arms force to act as the world's policemen, for other nations to fight in any way would be all but, as I dare say again, useless. What nation would want to fight if they know that an army with 100x the men and the most modern technology would step in and fight them back?
Again this all theoretical and despite the size of the US army, geopolitical and domestic realities make this argument dormant.
Answer
segregated schools
Explanation:
The rest of segregation was outlawed more than 10 years later with the Civil Rights Act of 1964, but Brown v. Board of Education allowed African American children to attend public schools in the South by ruling segregated schools unconstitutional.
