There are three human rights directly linked to media: 
1. The right to freedom of speech. Media must protect the right of each individual to have their voices heard.

2. The right to freedom of choice. People must be allowed to choose what information they consume and in what way.

3. The right to freedom of expression.  Media must provide a platform for different groups to voice their opinions in their own way.
