I would think miles per hour would be the best units to use because that is what the speedometer of a car is read in. Hope this helped! comment back with any questions you still have!

Given a 5 liter jar and a 3 liter jar and a unlimited supply of water, how do you measure out 4 liter exactly
andre [41]

Answer:

Given:

5 liter Jar

3 liter jar

Unlimited supply of water.

To measure out 4 liters exactly.

Steps to be carries out to measure out 4 liters of water exactly.

Water content: 3 liter jar = Empty , 5 liter jar = Empty

1) Fill the 3 liter jar completely with water.

3 liter jar = 3 liter , 5 liter jar = Empty

2) Empty the filled 3 liter jar of water by pouring it out into 5 liter jar.

Water content: 3 liter jar = Empty , 5 liter jar = 3 liter

3) Again fill the empty 3 liter jar completely.

Water content: 3 liter jar = 3 liter , 5 liter jar = 3 liter

4) Pour water from 3 liter jar into 5 liter jar until it is completely filled.

Water content: 3 liter jar = 1 liter , 5 liter jar = 5 liter

5)  Empty the 5 liter jar completely.

Water content: 3 liter jar = 1 liter , 5 liter jar = Empty

6) Empty the 3 liter jar by pouring the water into 5 liter jar.

Water content: 3 liter jar = Empty , 5 liter jar = 1 liter

7) Fill the 3 liter jar completely with water.

Water content: 3 liter jar = 3 liter , 5 liter jar = 1 liter

8) Empty the 3 liter jar by pouring it into 5 liter jar.

Water content: 3 liter jar = Empty , 5 liter jar = 4 liter

Now, we have exactly 4 liters of water in the 5 liter jar.

CUALES SON LOS GRADOS PARA HACER UNA GRAFICA DE PASTEL, CON LOS SIGUIENTES PORCENTAJES( 20%,50%,10%)
svlad2 [7]

Answer:

360° = 100%

Entonces, ¿a que grado corresponde el 50%? Planteamos la ecuación:

x = 50%

Si tomamos el cociente entre las ecuaciones:

x = 50% y  360° = 100%

obtenemos:

x/360° = 50%/100%

resolviendo para x, obtenemos:

x = (50%/100%)*360° = 0.5*360° = 180°

Para los otros porcentajes hacemos lo mismo.

Para el de 20% tenemos:

y = 20%

planteamos la ecuación:

y/360° = 20%/100%

y = 0.2*360° = 72°

Finalmente, para el de 10% tendremos:

z = 10%

planteando la ecuación como antes:

z/360° = 10%/100%

z = 0.1*360 = 36°

Asi, hemos encontrado los grados correspondientes para cada porcentaje.

FOR BRAINLIST ANSWER AND 10 POINTS ANSWER ALL PLZ !!!!!

<h2>Greetings!</h2>

A)

<h3>If you can see, every 4 minutes the amount of water is increasing at a constant rate. </h3>

197 - 153 = 44

285 - 241 = 44

<h3>This means that at 8 minutes, because there is 153 gallons already in, we can divide 8 by 4 to see how many groups of 4 minutes there were. </h3>

8 ÷ 4 = 2

So then we can subtract two lots of 44 from 153:

153 - (44 x 2) = 65

<h3>So the starting amount was 65.</h3>

B)

<h3>The answer to B is the second option, because it is true that the amount of water is increasing. This is by 44 gallons per 4 minutes.</h3>

The amount of gallons per minute can be found out by dividing the amount by 4:

44 ÷ 4 = 11

<h3>So it is 11 gallons per minute.</h3>
<h2>Hope this helps!</h2>

Can Someone Answer My Final Answers :) I’d appreciate it so much :)
DaniilM [7]
1. Remember that the perimeter is the sum of the lengths of the sides of a figure.To solve this, we are going to use the distance formula: d= \sqrt{(x_{2}-x_{1})^2+(y_{2}-y_{1})^2}
where
(x_{1},y_{1}) are the coordinates of the first point
(x_{2},y_{2}) are the coordinates of the second point
Length of  WZ:
We know form our graph that the coordinates of our first point, W, are (1,0) and the coordinates of the second point, Z, are (4,2). Using the distance formula:
d_{WZ}= \sqrt{(4-1)^2+(2-0)^2}
d_{WZ}= \sqrt{(3)^2+(2)^2}
d_{WZ}= \sqrt{9+4}
d_{WZ}= \sqrt{13}

We know that all the sides of a rhombus have the same length, so
d_{YZ}=  \sqrt{13}
d_{XY}= \sqrt{13}
d_{XW}= \sqrt{13}

Now, we just need to add the four sides to get the perimeter of our rhombus:
perimeter= \sqrt{13} + \sqrt{13} + \sqrt{13} + \sqrt{13}
perimeter=4 \sqrt{13}
We can conclude that the perimeter of our rhombus is 4 \sqrt{13} square units.

2. To solve this, we are going to use the arc length formula: s=r \alpha
where
s is the length of the arc.
r is the radius of the circle.
\alpha is the central angle in radians

We know form our problem that the length of arc PQ is \frac{8}{3} \pi inches, so s=\frac{8}{3} \pi, and we can infer from our picture that r=15. Lest replace the values in our formula to find the central angle POQ:
s=r \alpha
\frac{8}{3} \pi=15 \alpha
\alpha =  \frac{\frac{8}{3} \pi}{15}
\alpha = \frac{8}{45} \pi

Since \alpha =POQ, We can conclude that the measure of the central angle POQ is \frac{8}{45} \pi

3. A cross section is the shape you get when you make a cut thought a 3 dimensional figure. A rectangular cross section is a cross section in the shape of a rectangle. To get a rectangular cross section of a particular 3 dimensional figure, you need to cut  in an specific way. For example, a rectangular pyramid cut by a plane parallel to its base, will always give us a rectangular cross section.
We can conclude that the draw of our cross section is:
