Formula
The formula for a pyramid is V = 1/3 * B * h

B = s * s of the square bottom
s = 10

B = 10*10
B = 100 square feet.

Height.
The height is not given. You find it using a^2 + b^2 = c^2
a = 1/2 length of the side of the base
b = height
c = 13^2

If you draw a line to the midpoint of the base form the base of the height, you get 5. You have to read that a couple of times. I don't know if you can see this or not.
AC = 10
B is the midpoint of AC that means that BD = 5
BH = 13 Given
We need HD

Use the pythagorean theorem
HD^2 + BD^2 = BH
HD^2 + 5^2 = 13^2
HD^2 + 25 = 169
HD^2 = 169 - 25
HD^2 = 144 Take the sqrt of both sides.
HD = sqrt(144)
HD = 12

Find the Volume
V = 1/3 * B * H
V = 1/3 * 100 * 12
V = 1/3 * 1200
V = 400

Answer
V = 400 square feet <<< answer

Find the solution of this system of equations 2x-4y=32 <br> 2x-8y=48
EleoNora [17]
2x - 4y = 32
2x - 8y = 48

2x - 2x - 4x - (-8y) = 32 - 48

4x = -16
x = -16 ÷ 4
x = -4

substitute your value of x into any of the original equations

2 (-4) - 4y = 32

-8 - 4y = 32

-4y = 32 + 8

-4y = 40
y = 40 ÷ -4
y = -10

aleksklad [387]

Answer:

Day 13

Step-by-step explanation:

The question can be represented with a geometric sequence

Where,

a = 5

Common ratio , r = 2

v(t) = a * r^(t - 1)

v(t) = 5 * 2^(t-1)

20,000 = 5 * 2^(t-1)

Divide both sides by 5

20,000 / 5 = 5 * 2^(t-1) / 5

4,000 = 2^(t-1)

2^12 = 2^(t-1)

12 = t - 1

12 + 1 = t

t = 13 days

What would be the day when more than 20,000 people will see the video

Check:

v(t) = 5 * 2^(t-1)

= 5 * 2^(13-1)

= 5 * 2^12

= 5 * 4,096

= 20,480

Therefore,

The day when more than 20,000 people will see the video is day 13

The answer is 8x.
You are combining like terms as 5 and 3 both have x so you are simply adding 5+3= 8
