Creon blamed himself for the tragic deaths of his family members.

Explanation:

The death of his wife, son and niece happened because of his false pride. He believed himself to be the sole responsible for this situation.  His false pride of considered himself and his laws to be superior to the moral laws and the laws made by God. His excessive pride and stubborn attitude became a reason for the death of his family members.
