Indonesia and Malaysia found themselves in a volatile region dominated by expansive superpowers and volatile neighbors.

Explanation:

Malaysia and Indonesia occupy a land that has been a hotbed of trade settlements for ages and is incredibly valuable.

When they won their independence the countries were ready to establish their influence on the region again but found themselves in the middle of the cold war and Soviet Union and USA making proxy wars in their neighboring countries

IT was also difficult to assert control for them with the Chinese laying claims to the South china sea which is the area of trade for them.

From the graph, the coordinates of point A in terms x and y = (6, 5).

The equation of line L in the form y = mx+c is y = 4x - 2

What is the general equation of any straight-line graph?

The general equation for any straight-line graph takes the form y = mx +c.

Where;

 • m = gradient of the line
 • c = y- intercept
 • x & y = coordinate of the line.

From the graph, the coordinates of point A in terms x and y = (6, 5)

The equation of the line L in the form y = mx+c is:

 • The gradient m = -4
 • The y-intercept = 2

y = mx + c

y = -4x + 2

The equation of line L in the form y = mx+c is y = 4x - 2

If points were plotted for the equation x= 3, then:

y = 4(3) - 2

y = 12 - 2

y = 10

Therefore, if points were plotted for the equation x = 3, they will produce a sloping line.
